The Lion
Lions are the largest predetors found in the Tanzania National Parks, they belong to the cat family and live in groups of 60 to 200 called a Pride. A Lion Pride consist of mostly female lions and a single male, the females are tasked with hunting while the male stays behind to protect the territory against invading Prides.

Leopard

Leopards are the second largest predetors in Tanzania, they are also from the cat family but have different traits from that of a lion. Fist of all Leopards live alone most of the time except during mating season, they prefer hunting at night and carrying their food to the top of a tree to hide it from other predetors.

Rhinocerous

Rhinos are currently one of the rarest animals in the world, with a global population of about 28,000. Rhinos have a sharp horn on their heads which is used for defending themselves against predetors and other animals. They are large in size and have a very thic skin for protection.
Although they are rare animals, In Tanzania you can still see them if you visit Ngorongoro National Park, Serengeti National Park and Mkomazi National Park.
Elephant

They travel mostly in herds females are larger in size so they stay at the edges of the heards to protect the others.
