
INDUSTRY: HEAVY MACHINERY EQUIPMENT AND TRUCKS
LOCATION: KIGOMA, MBEYA, AND MWANZA
HR World Limited, on behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Sales Specialist who will be responsible for driving sales of heavy-duty machinery and equipment, expanding the customer base, and supporting market growth within assigned regions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promote and sell heavy-duty machinery, construction equipment, and related solutions to contractors, companies, and key industry clients.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while ensuring consistent business growth.
- Identify new business opportunities and onboard new clients to expand market reach.
- Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and product presentations.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular follow-ups and support.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends and provide feedback to management.
- Coordinate with technical, service, and logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery and after-sales support.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and prepare daily/weekly sales reports.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in selling heavy-duty machinery, construction equipment, or industrial machines (mandatory).
- Strong technical understanding of machinery specifications and applications.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of the construction and equipment market landscape.
